That works well for me. There is a spot maybe a mile south of Baker on Kelbaker Road where we could meet. It’s on the way to the Mojave Road, and away from the crowds. You’ll see my truck, it’s pretty noticeable. Or if you want to meet in town, I pretty much always top off my tank at the ARCO...
I’m interested in going, I was out there this past weekend, and am already ready to go back. It looks like rain Friday, so I’ll have another 3 day weekend, and can meet you in Baker Saturday morning.

I’ve driven up to 6 to 7 hours on Fridays after work to get to a trail for a weekend. I would prefer not to go that far, but sometimes the desert calls and I need to answer. Lately I’ve taken an extra day to those long distance weekends though.
