This was the Overland Bound Inland Empire group run for January.
Not all the rigs were from Overland Bound, but 11 of them were.
Next challenge: Group runs are great, but sometimes you need to get out alone, so your rig by itself in the middle of nowhere.
Isn’t it funny that this thread is quiet for long stretches and then really active for a short bit, and then goes quiet again? Anyway since there was no new challenge, how about a photo of your most recent campsite.
My go to is Pendelton, but I also like Tin Cup. I recently got a bottle of Redemption Rye, and I’m really enjoying it. Ever since reading about it in Craig Johnson’s Longmire book series, I’ve wanted to try Pappy Van Winkles, but it sure is pricey.
Welcome! Come on over to the Overland meetup forum, and check out the Inland Empire thread. We do a run every month, and you are more than welcome to join. Unfortunately you missed the January run, it was last weekend, but we’re going to Anza Borrego for Tierra del Sol in February. Hope to see...
Hey everyone, I entered these photos in the Overland Expo photo contest, and wou appreciate it if you could give me some votes. Here’s the link: Best Shot Contest — Overland Expo® Thanks!

That’s only a small part of my library. I have over 12 feet of shelved books about the desert! And around 10 feet of old west nonfiction. I’ve always loved books.
