Tiny trip in a Tiny Vehicle

Hello all. This trip is nothing major, but the views are so spectacular and the area so accessible that I wanted to share. I did an overnight trip to the top of Windy Knob Loop in Chilliwack, BC. I went solo, which I normally wouldn't do, but the area is actually mostly within cell coverage and...

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Drove it up the top of a mountain near my place to camp out overnight. Actually I'm posting this from the top of the mountain right now. Lol

    Thoughts of Honda CRV

I've never driven in icy conditions per se, but it handled forest tracks in 10 inches of fresh snow like a champ.

    SVO ....Small Vehicle Overlanding

I drive a 99 CR-V pictured in my avatar, and I absolutely love it. I'm in a very similar situation to you in that my daily commute is very long and I can't afford to ensure two vehicles with the insane gas and insurance prices we face out here on the left coast of Canada. Also, BC is...

    #CRVNATION - CR-V'ers Unite!

Hey all, I'm fairly new here, and I'd love to see if there are any others out there rocking their CR-V off road on adventures. Here's mine: I've owned a lot of vehicles before, but there have been precious few I really loved. My 2006 Dodge Charger was one, and this one is another. This thing...

    Thoughts of Honda CRV

What did you end up buying? I will say that the CR-V is an outstanding vehicle in many respects. I absolutely love mine. If you're going to take all your kids and dog, you might want something bigger, though- depends how much gear you're hauling. I almost bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee, but the...

Overland on a budget? Is it possible?

There are a few very capable (for what they are) 4WD/AWD vehicles that can do a lot more than most people think, and are quite affordable to boot. I definitely know what you mean about the budget - mine is tight as all get out. Sole breadwinner, 4 kids, one on the way, most expensive place to...

Not your typical Overland Vehicle (pics)

5 whole inches you say! Miles of space under there lol (I joke, since it's only 3.1 inches less than my rig) Adds to the pucker factor when driving the ruts and rock steps anyway! Makes for a more interesting drive, I say. Good on ya. ;)

That's awesome - off roading in a low clearance sedan! I admire your gusto. Can you give us some more info on your machine? I'm gathering it's AWD?

Not your typical Overland Vehicle (pics)

1999 Honda CR-V, B20Z engine, 120HP General Grabber AT2's x4 and a random junkyard spare on the back (lol) 2x 10,000LB recovery points affixed to the rear frame rails I have a Uniden CB radio installed in the dash, and most recently a "Poor Man's Trasharoo" in the form of an old US Army surplus...

Hello all! First post. Greetings from the mountains of Beautiful British Columbia, Canada. My rig is the pictured 1999 Honda CR-V with the upgraded B20 series motor, 120hp. The rig is pretty much stock, so far, with only a set of 205/75/R15 General Grabber AT2's fitted and a CB radio installed...
