The Canadian Army uses G Wagons as our GP wheeled vehicle. Oh man how I want one when they eventually start surplussing those. I'll have to stand in a long line I bet lol
I don't use the Book of Faces, but I am from LMD BC. I'm pretty busy in general with 4 kids and a lot of OT at work, but I'm extremely keen to get out in the back country when I can. Cheers!
Hey BC Overlanders!
I'm really itching to do the Harrison - Pemberton FSR route on August 11th, but all my usual wheeling buddies have bailed on me or are tied up.
I know that there's a washout at 56km at the bridge over Bremner creek, but my research indicates that BC4WD association has...
I went! It was absolutely awesome. I knew it would be cool, but it was even better than I'd hoped. I even went on an "accidental trail ride" (bit of a funny story) and ended up at the top of the green chairlift. lol
Cheers!
@Ian McCarthy Nice to see a new range rover hitting the dirt! Of course people have every right to do whatever they wish with their own property (as long as it doesn't infringe others rights and property) but I always feel a bit sad when a 4x4 is relegated to being just a pavement princess...

Presently my kit is...

We bought our 3 bedroom townhouse with almost no yard for 500k in 2016 and sold it 6 months later for 555k, and since we moved I think similar units were selling for 620. It's just nuts here.
Oh for sure I realize how blessed I am. The view from my street is incredible. 20 minutes from my house and I can be on top of a huge mountain. It's a shame it's so darned expensive to live here, though! lol
Thanks much!
Currently my adventuring opportunities are a bit limited, but I'm trying to arrange a full day trip through a historic back country route in BC. If we manage to make the trip happen, I'll probably do a little route post showing the area and highlights of the adventure. Cheers!
Seems like everyone's done one of these, so figured I would too, since I'm killing time waiting for something at the moment.
Life long BC boy here, served in the army, currently a 10+ year law enforcement officer. I recently got interested in 4wd and off roading when I bought a house in the...
