    1999 Honda CR-V - "Ganbaru"

Hello all, Figured I'd start a build thread even though not a ton of progress has been made on this rig of mine. I figure it's as much a "to do" list for me as it is sharing my journey building up the CR-V with you guys. My rig is, as mentioned, a '99 CR-V. The CR-V debuted in 1997 and...

    Non-Member Rig Photos

Spotted this sweet looking, built up Discovery in town yesterday: The tires are Mud Terrains, and by the look of them, they're BRAND Spanking new. Like, put on that day, maybe. If Land Rovers weren't such crap in terms of build quality, I'd buy one in a second, because this is probably one of...

The official OTO "Ozark Trail Overland" gear thread!

Sadly, they're out of stock everywhere around me :( They've sent back all the remaining stock for the season. Maybe I could get a rain cheque, but I doubt it. Ah well.

Trying to get my mitts on one of these: https://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/ozark-trail-one-person-cot-tent/6000197475712 I think it would be perfect for my adventures.

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I'd love to know too. I have a simple sphere inclinometer app, but this one seems to have more features.

Welcome to the Western Canada thread

Checking in from BC here! Born and raised in North Van, but currently living in the Eastern Fraser Valley among the mighty mountains I love so well! EDIT: Now residing in the Bulkley Valley of Northern BC, still among the mountains!

    Donno where to start

Definitely an off road camping trailer, that's my suggestion! Awesome find! Good luck with the build.

    Lets see some trail photos!

Bit of a late reply, but why not ask the owner if you can have it? Better than it rusting away to nothing in the field. You could restore it! :)

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Agh, I've done some research, and it looks like they don't make em in my size. That's a shame. Hope they rock for you, though!

What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

I like the look of those Falken Wildpeaks. I'm considering them for an eventual replacement for my Grabber AT2's, especially if they're cheaper or the same price. Keep us posted on how they perform!

A Wander Up Fraser Canyon - In search of the past

Ohh, there's some real gems, especially right in my neck of the woods. Tons of off road exploring, lakes, rivers, mountains, all within a fifteen minute or so drive from my front door. Washington state has some good stuff too, I hear. I really want to try the WABDR sometime.

A Wander Up Fraser Canyon - In search of the past

The Cariboo Wagon Road, at least the Canyon stretch, is mostly usurped by the railroad bed now, although some parts are also part of the modern highway. If memory serves, I think the old road went through Ashcroft, so that might be a good start for you. Back in the early days, Governor Douglas...

A Wander Up Fraser Canyon - In search of the past

One thing I love about the Fraser Canyon is that there's literally ages and ages of history just piled on top of itself there. The route was used in ancient times by the First Nations via a network of ladders, bridges and catwalks, then came the wagon road, then the railroad, then the various...
