I was looking at the Browning McKinley -30 bag the other day on Amazon It gets amazingly good reviews and seems to be very roomy. I would link but unfortunately the link refuses to display properly.
Yeah, there doesn't seem to be a road along the power line cut. I think that feature you pointed out is actually a creek runout rather than a road.
The only spot I've found that looks somewhat promising, at least from sat maps, is Pokosha pass, but I fear the boulder/scree/talus fields are far...
Intriguing! I'm going to scour that part of the map again. You might be on to something!
How perfect would it be to begin that epic adventure with a ford of the Squamish? Dang.
So you from around these parts, then?
Edit: Is this the spot you're talking about?
The big problem you run into with that route is crossing the Squamish river. There's no bridge and I reckon it's way too deep to ford anywhere near there.

We're very fortunate in BC in a lot...
Nice. I can't wait to take mine on a trip. Hopefully I can take one soon.
Oh, the one thing I will mention is that the pegs supplied with the tent are garbage. They're the same ones that come with the 10x10 Ozark Trail canopy I have, and they bend in anything but the softest ground. I recommend...
Got my cot tent yesterday. So far, pretty impressed. It's very roomy and comfy - enough space for my eldest kiddo to lie down beside me, and despite my being 6'2", there is tons of room top and bottom, such that I think my gear bag would easily fit at my feet.
Build quality seems good, although...
It could be most of those...
Can't install at the moment because I'm hiding a big Christmas gift for the kids in the V right now and it's blocking access to the install location, but maybe I can move the stuff tonight and get to it.
UPDATE:
Moved the stuff and did the install:
So the 1st gen...
Outstanding news! Thanks for the update :D Maybe next summer, my bud's and I will do a trip up west Harrison and then do the Hurley to Carpenter lake. Would be an epic journey.
