Driver training. You can get out there and play in almost anything 'if' you have a clue what you are doing and the 'knowledge' of what not-to-do. Then I go armor ! Learn how & protect what you have. MHO
If you're hoping to boondock and beach play.. not much (if any) to be found. If looking for commercial camping besides Acadia, I have two I like that have a beach and can be fished from shore or dock (boat launch also). Both are tough to get into 'in-season'. So yes, they're popular.

We've become used to our cassette toilet as it's low profile and easy to pul out and use. Push comes to shove, it's contains a few nights of pee. We Wag-Bag even in the cassette for poo. So for us, as we do it...
