Are going to bring... You know how many proposals I have sat in on that have said this? It's not what can, i's what is! Is this already something I should invest in?
OB1 is a baby hoping to grow... sorry.. not seeing any of my money investing accordingly.
At least not yet...
Show me what you...
Would like to think so. Yet how? How does OB1 do better than Gaia for Overlanding? Then what regions does OB1 work on? Reality is OB1 is a concept not yet working... Gaia is on this and other adventures. Do I really want an exclusive app to only Overlanding? Do I want to have several apps for...
That's the point... It's trying to catch up to the BIG Boys that are already there.. It's a saturated field that others already have domain on.
What is OB bringing to the table that others can not bring? Answer that and I (as well as many others) may consider!
Jim, you can't just say I like it...
Gaia is bit mainly for Overlanding... I don't get what you're saying.. Maybe the free version doesn't allow 'all' the layers available and you're just not seeing what's there. When you break down all the layers and start using... not much left to wonder about as you overland.
Like I say, not...
The OB app being prompted is an uphill battle I doubt they can make. Far to much competition that has been 'in the game' much longer. They'd have to come in at a price like Gaia was originally and I really doubt that will happen. They also need us to help with mapping and since most of us are...
I have vid's coming up for a few more weeks from this run. As we worked north again I used the MABDR as the guide and ran a good portion there of. This is the Great Smokies as we turned the corner and started back north
Timing is everything that far north! We caught it. WOW! Rear just south of Errol into Berlin will not be that far behind.
I met a group of Wheeler's out of NYC in the North Country and handed them the run south to Errol. There's an addition of this that proceeds south again out of Errol I...
We just returned from a run Errol to Pittsburg along the NEBDR and it was in full 'color'. This will be gone in a matter of days, so if you can.. do it now!
A route I like out of Berlin passing Success Pond is having a bridge replaced before Success Pond! There are work arounds this, but they...
Others may know more, yet I do believe Jericho is mainly ATV. A great guide to base a run on is the NEBDR and work from there. I do several runs as I live in NH and about to embark on another starting tomorrow. NH will bring Tar, dirt and Class 6 into play yet expect to do each along the way...
Jefferson Notch Road before Rt 2 and after the trailhead parking lot has several dispersed spots (NEBDR goes right through here). If you have others with you, Dolly Copp's group area is still nice (small fee). The main campground is lost to the glamper's...
Finished up the updated wall wrap and moved on to the updated DC/DC - MPPT Solar unit.
The front windows were getting splash back from the cab of the truck and the material was wicking water at the base seam/fold. Using Ottertex 8.8oz polyester PU coated.
I have it sewed and mounted!
Working through the stays, workable as is! That's good cause we leave in 3 days for yet another run... though this one being fairly short.
I'm gong to leave it deployed for a few days and keep adjusting as I see need on the deployment points. So far I'm using...
Years back I fished Yellowstone NP for free. All you needed to do was request the permit. Have no clue if they still do this. I do wish 'all' National's allowed this! Aa a retired Senior Traveler that has the Lifetime Pass it would be a great addition!
