I still haven’t heard back from the Kettle Falls ranger station. I’ve stopped when in the neighborhood, but the station was closed. Now that we’re back from our trip, I have more time to make contact with them. Otherwise, we’ll just go clean it up.

You should have a cb. You don’t need anything fancy. A Uniden 510 can be had for under $50. Just be sure to install it correctly and tune the antenna. A hand held works well also. You won’t need traction boards or a winch on this one. I’m sure others will have them if the need arises.

Someone tried to steal my trailer this week while on a trip. The trailer was hooked up at the time. They loosened the nut to bolt my hitch onto their receiver. They must have only had one wrench, as it looks like the top of my hitch will hold the bolt from turning. The loosened nut eventually...
