Personally, I’m not interested in driving fast when out. I’ll pull my trailer most of the time, and I enjoy it. We also usually travel alone. We do enjoy group outings though. I haven’t swapped gears yet, but it’s on the list. I will probably go with 4.88s,
I also have the ID-5100. It’s a great radio. If you want to use a app on your phone or tablet, the icom app only operates on android for the 5100. The 4100s app runs on both android and iOS.
I bet 10:30. Someone will run late, and that someone could very well be me. Mrs. Lorax is pretty excited though, and I don’t sleep much past 4:30 usually. I never thought about the time change. Thank you for pointing that out.
I put down 10 rigs as a maximum, but I’m not really concerned about the number. We are at 10 now, as I have a friend coming with. I’m going to try to edit the number.

Number 7 is a 2014 JKUR. 317/70r/17 General X3, 2.5” Teraflex lift, Frontrunner rack, cb, ham, and a whole bunch of stuff I fabricated. The Pack Saddle (trailer) is a 1946 Bantam that I bought from the original owners son.
I built my own. There is a diy on here. Just go to a farm store and buy a disc blade, weld the center shut and put some handles on it. And, disc blades are not made of cast iron.
Mrs. Lorax and I took a week off and went to Banff, Alberta. The weather there was less then cooperative, so we turned around and found sunshine in Idaho and Montana. Here are a few pics from our week.
The climb to Conrad Lookout. It’s steeper than it looks.

I have a ton of cast iron. A friend of mine owns a antique store, he would bring me a “no name” made in USA pan every now and then. Check out local antique and junk shop if you’re looking. Don’t over pay for a “no name” pan. Some place try to charge like a no namer is a Griswold. Just look for...
