Jumping Jack Trailer on the Oregon Backcountry Discovery Route

Personally, I’m not interested in driving fast when out. I’ll pull my trailer most of the time, and I enjoy it. We also usually travel alone. We do enjoy group outings though. I haven’t swapped gears yet, but it’s on the list. I will probably go with 4.88s,

I need help choosing my next radio

I also have the ID-5100. It’s a great radio. If you want to use a app on your phone or tablet, the icom app only operates on android for the 5100. The 4100s app runs on both android and iOS.

I bet 10:30. Someone will run late, and that someone could very well be me. Mrs. Lorax is pretty excited though, and I don’t sleep much past 4:30 usually. I never thought about the time change. Thank you for pointing that out.

I put down 10 rigs as a maximum, but I’m not really concerned about the number. We are at 10 now, as I have a friend coming with. I’m going to try to edit the number. How many people will be meeting in Coeur d’Alene? Who is going to meet in Superior?

    New Spokane Rig

There is a ton of places to go, if you want to run fire roads. I’ve found some fire roads that are more than just mild, but they’re few and far between. Seven mile off road park is an option if you’re looking to build more of a wheeler. @Aaron Niemi has a trip going to silver lake in Montana on...

    Shady people

This is why I always have a firearm with me. I’ve ran into to many tweekers in the middle of no where, let alone in Spokompton. But, the real question is: Where is the gnarly trail you speak of?

Number 7 is a 2014 JKUR. 317/70r/17 General X3, 2.5” Teraflex lift, Frontrunner rack, cb, ham, and a whole bunch of stuff I fabricated. The Pack Saddle (trailer) is a 1946 Bantam that I bought from the original owners son.

    TemboTusk Skottle -Alternative or DIY

I built my own. There is a diy on here. Just go to a farm store and buy a disc blade, weld the center shut and put some handles on it. And, disc blades are not made of cast iron.

A few pics from BC and Idaho

Mrs. Lorax and I took a week off and went to Banff, Alberta. The weather there was less then cooperative, so we turned around and found sunshine in Idaho and Montana. Here are a few pics from our week. The climb to Conrad Lookout. It’s steeper than it looks. Summer Lake Recreation Area Bull...

Cast Iron or No? (weight right now is not an issue for me)

I have a ton of cast iron. A friend of mine owns a antique store, he would bring me a “no name” made in USA pan every now and then. Check out local antique and junk shop if you’re looking. Don’t over pay for a “no name” pan. Some place try to charge like a no namer is a Griswold. Just look for...
