Pulling the trigger on a RTT, any advice?

If you talk to the owners, I'd be curious as to what they would have to say about the comments that the quality of their product has declined since they've moved their manufacturing... Sent from my iPhone using Overland Bound Talk

Pulling the trigger on a RTT, any advice?

That's really good information. I'm willing to take quality risks on some items... But this is a little outside the "meh, it broke" budget.

From the app, click the little circle with a plus, then click the picture icon. Be careful when uploading via the app, there isn't a lot of control when it comes to size. I had to resize these on my computer after I initially uploaded them and they were HUGE.

Pulling the trigger on a RTT, any advice?

Near Tacoma Washington. I did just find this... http://www.theadventureportal.com/taps-roof-top-tent-buyers-guide/ It may prove to be pretty handy, it has opened up a bunch more options. From what I've found of 23 Zero, it's a contender for sure.

Pulling the trigger on a RTT, any advice?

I'll take a look and see what I can find. I need to take a look and see if there are any brick and mortar stores that have these so I can go be tactile. Sent from my iPhone using Overland Bound Talk

Pulling the trigger on a RTT, any advice?

It's made in the region, they have a good reputation for quality, and they seem to be priced pretty well. I'm not stuck on the brand. If there is a compelling argument for another, I'd get a different one. I'm not going to buy until late June/July. Sent from my iPhone using Overland Bound Talk

Pulling the trigger on a RTT, any advice?

After getting on top of the Jeep with a tape measure... the Mt. Rainier would fit, but leave basically no space for anything else on the roof.

Pulling the trigger on a RTT, any advice?

I'm thinking that I may splurge and upgrade my roof rack and get a RTT before Off The Grid in September. My goal is still to try and get my trailer late next year. I'd like to move the tent over to that trailer... I don't need a ton of space, but I'm torn between the Mt. Shasta (Extended)...

    Aux fuse box and relays

When I built my drawer system, I made sure to leave space for radios, fuse boxes, and relays. Nice piece of plywood to screw everything in to, and seats to protect them. I really like that Switch Pro setup. I'll probably get another one for under the hood when I start adding on those...

    2006 Jeep Commander (XK) Build

The OME springs didn't lift the back as much as they did the front, and as I added weight, I quickly saw that I had some issues. Even empty, it seemed to sit a little lower in the rear than the front. This is with a partial load. (weekend trip) I took the spacers from the original lift and...

    North America Hema App

That looks very cool. I didn't see off hand if it could import/export to Garmin... I'd be interested to see how it works. Too bad there isn't some kind of free trial.

    2006 Jeep Commander (XK) Build

Somehow I missed this... It's hard to say for sure, my WK was also my daily, my XK is not. Post lift, pre bumper, it seemed to be similar. I was getting 15-17 on the interstate. I haven't had it on the interstate since. If I had to guess, I'd say I'll probably get 14-16 on the interstate...
