1. I have no idea what I'm doing. I've either been too lazy or lacked the motivation to get into this. I had kind of hoped for a simple plug and play solution. I don't want to build antennas, go contesting or speak to people all over the world. I think all of that stuff is cool but I have too...
Offroad capability and mpg are in many ways inversely proportional. If you’re offroad rig is your daily, then you’re likely to make decisions that favor mpg. If it’s primarily for being offroad, you probably make decisions for capability. My mpgs are not good but I wouldn’t want to sacrifice...
All of you people are nuts! I admire you but I don’t envy you. I don’t run unless something really scary is running after me. My wife and some of my friends find it therapeutic.
We were in Ouray on Imogene in a freaking hailstorm and there were some crazy runners up there doing a 100 miler. I...
I am not a multi-day hiker kind of guy but my wife and oldest daughter may talk me into it at some point. I am interested in multi-day kayaking though. I've heard the buffalo is beautiful but haven't been there. I'm not an experienced kayaker by any means. Is the water pretty fast or technical...
As others have stated, you’re not going to get there with CAI even with a tuner. In theory, a snorkel is more of a CAI than most CAIs but I still don’t think you are going to see any performance improvement.
Below is our itinerary for Spring Break. I am looking for any input on things to do at each destination and/or things to do/see between destinations (especially Big Bend to Colorado). We have never been to Big Bend so I would like to know what to see and do there. Any and all input is...
I run a padlock through the hi-lift bracket on my bumper and the hi-lift jack. The padlock is made by Bolt. They are designed to be programmed to work with your ignition key so you don't have another key to keep up with.
You should not have an issue with the Zeon. Big beefy clutch lever and smooth turning gears. The quality is quite apparent on these if you’re coming from anything else.
I don’t know how far you are from Windrock Park but there are three there. You can download the app and there is a map with all the trails on them. Be warned if you do this though, you may end up going a few hundred miles out of your way occasionally to do some of the trails.
Well having it is better than not having it. One other thing to think about if you don’t plan on leaving it on there all the time, is how you will wire it to your battery. Routing the wires can be a hassle depending on how you do it.
Using a high lift as a winch won’t get you far and will create a lot of frustration. I don’t know what kind of rig you have or bumper but is selling the bumper and buying one with a winch mount an option?
I would think if you are off-roading in areas where you might need a winch, having it...
Ive never heard of this place and I’ve been all over Sulphur and the Arbuckles. I’d be willing to give it a shot. I’m always good for a short trip to Arkansas too.
