What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Today I got the frame rail mount brackets trimmed up so the bumper sat square and in position and then tacked it on. Pulled the whole thing off and back on the fab table and started mocking up where the recovery points, hitch receiver, and swing arm will mount.

    Overland Hound

If we make a snow run Sunday we plan on taking our Bull Mastif / Pit puppy mix. She's a sweetheart and turning out to be an excellent (in cab) truck dog. I'll have to get some pics.

    GPS questions

I am curious about your requirements. Does your tablet not have a GPSr? What is the tie in with the bluetooth? Sorry, no experience with those products. I have dealt with Garmin Aviation extensively and a bit with their handhelds. Their menu's are intuitive and unit's are overall friendly...

What’s the difference between ‘4-wheel drive’ and ‘all-wheel drive?’

In other words, don't talk to me unless you have an Atlas II?

What’s the difference between ‘4-wheel drive’ and ‘all-wheel drive?’

I like selectable / part time 4wd because, at least with a free spinning front end, you can get better mileage in RWD, vice being in AWD, having to power all wheels all the time.

Doesn't have to be much. It does what you want.

Yea, I was looking at Pinnacles earlier too. Anywhere vehicle accessible is in a hole. I could probably get out with low power JT65/9 on 10m. Or if someone had a high angle HF setup.
