That should fit just fine.
On a spare tire swing away.
It would perfectly complement a bumper dumper.
And I can just imagine what would happen if the end got loose while you were tooling down the highway.
I will say don't be intimidated by modern electronics. Especially OBDII (starting about '96). These systems make it very easy to diagnose many issues. You can even use them to interface with a smart phone and essentially get additional dash gauges out of them so that you can monitor...
In Kali you have to get an annual fire permit (it's free, at least for now). Getting the permit requires going through an online video and taking an online quiz. All to teach you the same sort of thing BC is requiring in that image.
I heard that told the other way around: Back in the '30s a whole bunch of folks left Oklahoma and moved to California, thereby increasing the average IQs of both places.
In the low 90s here today, but supposed to hit 100 tomorrow. Gotta find some high mountains or foggy coasts to find nice...
Fishing (if near a fishing hole)
Shooting (if in free country)
Reading (I think that's still legal most places)
Savoring adult beverages
Hunting for scorpions with a black light (if in desert country)
Patching up what we broke on the rig
Exporing the area around camp
Talking
Those are what...
My vote is 3/4 ton. But then my choice for my family was a 3/4 ton '02 Suburban.
One thing that is substantially different between the two is the brake system. If you can get two of them side by side just compare the parking brake. The half ton is a joke, whereas the three quarter ton...
Easy.
Have Varmints.
Head out on a trip with a group of friends.
One Varmint drops roll of TP into cat hole. Decides to bury it there.
Another Varmint drops roll of TP while jumping over stream to find remote spot to do business.
Now you are out on a trip with a group of friends, still...
When I first saw this thread topic I was tempted to post "African or European HJ45?"
What do you know? Someone else thinks like me. For better or worse.
Yep.
It's just another level of elite, waiting to be claimed: Truly elite overlanders pack the freshest of milk, with no wasteful plastic packaging of any kind. Instead of a bumper mounted spare tire/Jerry can/Hi-Lift they have a swing out cow carrier.
ETA: The cow should not be regarded as...
A good engraving shop should be able to handle something with a uniform radius. My brother was involved with some of this a few years back and I was impressed with the range of objects they were able to handle. I hadn't expected anything much beyond flat items, but they seem to be able to cope...
I love my white gas Coleman lanterns, but I almost exclusively use my LEDs anymore.
My biggest reason is that the LEDs do not attract nearly as many bugs. The difference in color seems to matter. And not being fond of bugs I am willing to give up the traditional hissing noise.
The LEDs also...
Paint can be removed.
Best to start with weaker solvents. "Goof Off" would be a good starting point. If that won't touch it I would try lacquer thinner, using it sparingly and quickly (meaning apply it in amounts that won't run off and wipe it back off immediately). Last resort would be...
