Probably same reason I say I am going to warsh the dishes.....Yes if I were making the loaf at home I would have used a bit more fresh stuff, but given this was a classic campfire cuisine I wanted to used easily carried camping ingredients. Do try the sauce I made for it-I think it makes it much...
Odd fact-my mom was a lunch lady when they actually prepared meals and these are relics of that past-they are great plates. I think these are pretty close that you are able to buy today...
Always best practice as well to re-torque the lug nuts around 500 miles after any removal and reinstall. Make sure that they are seated well and tightened. Seems that makes later failure much less likely. My nephew actually had a wheel come off once driving down the highway-lessons learned.
Good morning and Happy Mother's Day to anyone fitting that bill! My latest just posted and it may take some of you back to fond memories-Check it out and let me know what you think. Easy and delicious.
If we think finding a camping site is difficult now here is an excerpt from an article in Taste regarding the changes in outdoor cooking...as some old book said "It was the best of times, It was the worst of times"
“Everybody is probably telling you the same story,” says Matt Liddle, the COO of...
Hey @JeepRushRick, Congratulations on the retirement-I am actually in Geneva, small world. The trip from Chicago to CO/UT is a really nice one and I recommend you contact the regional folks in that area. For sure Southern Utah (the National Parks are incredible but get very crowded so be...

Not looking to start a comparison of the two or which is better so just a question. I see the lugs on the corners to hold them in place when stacked are different on the two boxes-does anyone know if they will work with one another, i.e. will they stack on each other just fine despite the...
The most recent purchase was the Woody Dutch Oven which is a square aluminum dutch oven which is, essentially, also two square 9 inch fry pans. These are "legendary" ovens from the canoe crowd and I am in the process of lightening up my kit for use in the JKU. I am still playing with it so don't...
I am intrigued by the Gazelle tents but have not pulled the trigger as they seem to be (from the pictures) designed for fair weather i.e. small rain fly, hight sides etc. How do these perform when the wind starts howling and the thunderstorms come rolling through? I currently use a Marmot 4...
Morning all-If you are looking for a great option for any time of the day, and meatless to boot if that matters to you, I just put up my new video. This is a Spanish Tortilla a in the dutch oven and it is really, really tasty. I hope you enjoy.
