That is a scary story.
But there is a substantial difference between a canvas tent and a vehicle, particularly when it comes to air exchanges.
I do use a CO alarm in conjunction with my Buddy Heater. It is part of the heater kit. I make sure I have fresh batteries for it every time I pack...
Yep.
The funny thing is you would think with all this concern about "sustainability" there would be outrage over this. Yet not a peep. Everybody seems happy as a clam to have to replace everything on a regular basis. Just a bunch of 2 year olds happy to get something new and shiny. No...
I love it. Very clean shifting.
WRT binding, I would ask exactly what those folks who have trouble are running for motor/trans mounts. I am running Brown Dog motor mounts (including the full block plates) and an SFR trans mount. My engine and trans are very solidly located. Worn out factory...
You are spot on about the quality of houses. The newer they are the less I want to do with them. Quality really went down the drain in the '80s and has been dropping ever since. And hardly anybody cares.
I would much rather own a house from the '50s than one built in the last 40 years...
Aftermarket gets my vote too.
But if you can post up pics on the pieces you need I may have them laying around here. I pulled all that out when I went with Boostwerks linkage, but I didn't throw it away. Just a question of whether or not I can lay hands on the pieces you need.
(Note: My...
How about lights and a tree?
I swear the lights are on, but it was too bright for them to show up well.
And yes, we went questing in a national forest and chopped down a tree. It brings a smile to my face every time.
I have the Falken Wildpeaks on both my XJ and my Suburban. Got them on the XJ first and liked them so much I got a set for the Suburban too. I think they are a great all around tire.
Dang.
Where do they hide the patches? Behind the counter?
I should have picked up a Motel 6 and a Comfort Inn last trip.
I suppose the elite with their Land Rovers stay at Hiltons and Marriotts.
:smirk:
It sounds like the linkage is not even connected. Hopefully a very simple fix, although there is probably a pin or clip missing.
If there is any problem trying to find pieces to fix this then it may be a wise choice to step up to a better linkage system. I am running Boostwerks' version. I...
My own experience says that batteries don't like the cold. OTOH, I have yet to hear anything about how drivers of EVs are finding themselves stuck in the snow, halfway home, because their batteries gave out. There should be plenty of experience with these things by now.
Or do these folks...
Many of the Adventure Tool Company bags are over the $50 limit, but the small tool pouches are within range: Adventure Tool Company parts pouches
Lots of top notch gear there. The sort of stuff I can't bring myself to buy for myself, but it makes great gifts.
I never even thought about multicolor Christmas lights being an issue. Now that I conside it, yes there are rules about those sort of things for the sake of keeping law enforcement's red lights to the front an exclusive thing. But I have run multi-color Christmas lights on my rig in the past...
Good example.
Modified, and now more reliable with a longer life ahead of it than if it were left stock.
Also a good example of how the manufacturer is not interested in the customer's needs, but in their own bottom line.
