    Buying a Vehicle for Overlanding

Don't bother. Just get a truck with a camper in the back. Cheap, reliable and good to drive. My friend who has a bee business across the street from me has a mog for his work...it will do like 40mph maxed out.

Im guessing its the 5100s have that warranty on them. Understandable too, I have seen countless 5100 series shocks fail over the years off road.

IF you want a "home" in the back, and not a tent, get a truck with an 8ft bed, it's not that long. more so if you just go extended cab to keep some clothes, jackets etc handy while travelling and put a camper in back. Build your rig around the camper in back and you will have an awesome...

Anyways. You can like what you want. that's fine. I know different. it's' not a brand versus brand, it's a WHATS USED INISDE. And you probably never got a deal and paid what they are really worth.

King's off the shelf offerings are indeed better than fox's off the shelf offerings. Custom, thats a different story.

I agree, salt sucks. From now on, I am por 15'ing the UC of every rig I own the getting it rust checked every fall. only way to keep shit rust free. I have owned 6 jeep rigs, approx 20 ford trucks and cars, a few chevs and a crap load of honda / acura products. The key for all of them is...

The "bare ass" bronco requires a bunch of extra option selections in order to get the squatch package here. I priced one up and it was 65k. I can get a rubicon cheaper than that. much cheaper. For the extra money I could put the AEV lift on and fit 37s.
