Hi Benjamin, I am looking at starting to build trailers spec'ed out for overlanding. I am going to start the process after christmas. I have my welder all setup for steel welding and I am getting the aluminum setup asap too. I have been looking at the manley setup and can build one like that...
I would LOVE to tackle this build for you! That is what I want to start building. Custom built overland style trailers. Made to order. you give the specs and I weld and build. I need to get my aluminum spool setup finished off so I can start fabbing up aluminum. I can design it on cad, cut...
We are going to finish building up our jeeps, packing them up and getting out into the backcountry of Newfoundland this year coming up. I have alot of wrenching to do on both vehicles, and that needs to be completed asap. After that it's load up our kayaks, bikes and gear onto the sylvansport...
Ordering my new Hella E-code headlights and ddm Ultra 55w H4 bi xenon kit for them. Finally some good headlights. LED SUCKS. 4500k nice normal light color not blue garbage color, some real light power to punch down the road, and proper cut off with shields and E code light housings so no...
Yes. Always have hope. Never give that up no matter what. I know we have not had much content this year because of everything going on but we are going to be putting up new articles soon after Christmas. Hang in there. Your journey is just beginning.
I am doing that, but on my own time, with clients I choose. I am not doing just anyone's work anymore. Got burned by that last time round. Mostly my fault since I let the bike go out of my shop before payment. But it was someone who I gave more than a million dollars worth of business to...
We are enjoying it. Wife got her home office set up and permanently working from home as her employer approved our request. I am working on some new business ventures so I will be home based too. We now can work from anywhere we have internet access. Opens up lots of doors for us now.
My first airgun was the 66 powermaster crossman. I still have it. It does not hold air anymore so I am guessing that it's in need of a seal kit. Another project to get around to.
OP. I bought cheap tires for our Jeep because I wanted some tires. The price was great, but guess what. I should have bought BFG AT's and paid the extra. Smoother, quieter, wearing better than my cheap garbage tires. Pay for quality.
Agreed, I own 2 jeeps, I love them both. I have a wrangler unlimited and my wife has a patriot. The patriot will go 90 percent of the places we go off roading, camping etc and I could do without going to the other 10 in all honesty. The difference between the two is the ride quality off road...
If I still had my ADV bike, I would be rocking a 27X garmin too. I like the extras you get with a modern tablet though. And yes, I have paper copies of topos in a book called Backroads map book. Really good for our areas!
