I'd fly here. Buy an old TJ. Use it, dump it, fly home. The cost of importing something will exceed that alone. You'll need valid registration, insurance, and tags. However, there's a ton of people on youtube who have done it. You may want to reach out to Maltec. I know they are trying to get...
I agree. I made a website to sell small trinkets and such just to help fund trail clean ups and repair in NJ. What I can accomplish v. the scope of the problem is nominal. But, I look at it the same way I look at business. Multiple small actions will get the job done. People are worried about...
You could probably reinforce the edges. If I was going to make my own I'd have it tilt down for easier access. My 5'1" wife can hardly see into my fridge and it's mounted in the bed of the truck. Not on drawers..
There's a ton of info on youtube. I've had the Amazon MAXSA boards. We melted them and they faded pretty bad. I will be fair in saying that we spun the tires on them. I now have maxtrax for the mounting options they had. If I was on a tight budget I'd be comfortable w/ the cheap ones.
No, thank you for reviving an old thread. I haven't put my 23zero walkabout 72 on yet. Main reason is because I can't fit in the garage and it's winter. I also can't hang it from my roof because I won't be able to pull out of the garage. The tent weight 160 lbs. I can probably get it down myself...
I'd be shocked if you saw 17 mpg out of an xterra. I had one for a while it was a pig on gas but a lot of fun. I would think the cherokee trailhawk would be a good option. Resale on them is low but stay away from the 2014's. They had a ton of bugs (I had one also).
If you want a mild lift w/ some extra support in the rear do some research on Headstrong offroad or call Marie and speak to her. Since you don't have leaf springs like a tacoma I'm not 100% sure of what's available out there but I would think some bilstein 5100's with heavier springs should do...
What your doing didn't work for me and the power pack died pretty quickly in the summer. I don't have a goal zero, I have the Lion Energy pack which is pretty powerful. I decided to switch it up and I'm going to use a hood mounted solar panel wired to my 94R AGM battery so it's always charging...
I hope it works out for you. I bought a 2014 Cherokee TH. White with dark brown leather interior. Fully loaded, heated steering wheel, the works. It was so damn comfortable and smooth. It was quiet, and I thought it looked amazing. However, I couldn't keep it out of the damn dealer for warranty...
Hopefully this is allowed. If not, simply PM me and delete.
