I Know it isn't the same as a gas grill. But I have used a cast iron griddle (double sided ridges/flat) on my double burner gas stove top. Works great when a fire is not possible. Also takes up very little space since it is flat. I think of it as my econo skottle :smile:

Thanks for posting the great chart & info on the AGM. I have not used any AGM myself, but when my battery gives up I'm keeping them on the short list. Personally, for the money I would give the AGM a go, since you carry a backup starter & are just stationary at night. Gives you more $$ for trip...

Sorry for the Late reply, YES stock vehicle is perfect, these are gravel/dirt roads that are used often. Have some areas of washboard near sharp turns, but nothing requiring extra clearance. During hunting season sees a lot of use. Let me know if you need any help finding these roads, be happy...

I prefer cast iron as well. I have an OLD smooth cast iron small skillet (3eggs) that was my grandmother's that cooks great on a burner or on the coals. It's only a few pounds, so it always goes with me. If there will be a lot of folks to cook for, I take the big (13") skillet with lid. HEAVY...

Very nice! Did you fab the ditch light mounts? I also like the use of the the space under the stereo for switches, great idea. Need to upgrade my stereo to bluetooth enabled so I can take calls when driving.
