    Overland Bound Emblems!

Well, just went out and stuck it on the first place that looked good. After a month or so I finally committed to placing it on my vehicle.

Just voted. I think I put more effort into this vote than I am in the caucus Monday night.

    Overland Bound Emblems!

Had my emblem for over a month now. Today is suppose to get up to 50 degrees here in Iowa. I've yet to settle on a location to place it. I think I'm just going to go outside and stick it on the first spot that appeals to me. I can't believe I've been putting this much thought into it. lol

    Brotherhood/Sisterhood of Overlanding

Saw this on Facebook and it immediately reminded me of this forum. As this forum continues to grow and attract new members every day, I really appreciate the inclusiveness, regardless of vehicle choice. This truly is a unique forum with a positive direction. Much appreciated.

Anyone else from the Great White North (Canada)?

Welcome to the forum. Nice drawer system in the 80. Thought about building something like that for my Wrangler. However, doesn't seem to practical unless I take out the back seats. Trunk space in a Wrangler is very limited unfortunately.

    Member Rides

Sweet ride and awesome tear drop. At first glance, I thought it was a Jeep Cherokee. Looks like FCA borrowed some design features from Subaru. Is the roof rack with the light bar very noisy?

Welcome to the forum. I think most of us here feel the same way as you. It's all about the journey, not the destination.

    Tire Deflators

Lol, probably. But yes, I do like the idea of a portable compressor. We have three vehicles. Right now I think the portability is more important than an on board system. If I ever find an m416 trailer to modify, I might put a compressor in that.

    Tire Deflators

Ugh. Your killing me Steve. I looked at the 450 also just for the 100% duty cycle. Told myself I didn't need it. But, really want it. I might just hold off on the purchase for now and see if I can find a deal on the 450. Since I live in an apartment, I've tried justifying the 450 since I don't...

Anyone else from the Great White North (Canada)?

Welcome to the forum. It's growing every day so I'm sure more people in your area will join soon. I'm in the middle of no where Iowa. Not a lot of Overlanders in my area. Either rock crawlers or soft roaders. Some day I'm going to make it to Canada. Would love to venture around up there.

Cargo Rack project completed on the JKU

Off the production line, I don't think you can beat a Jeep. But I've seen some very capable 4runners and other vehicles that would run circles around me. The older I get, the rougher the ride seems to be. I've contemplated long and hard about getting a 4runner or Pathfinder, but just can't give...

Tutorial on how to set a badge on display under your name/avatar

Nope. I always access it from my Macbook Pro's. I also noticed I have other badges unlocked, but they won't display either.

    Tire Deflators

I'm pretty set on buying the 400p, but the cheapest I've found was on Amazon for around $199. Do you know of any places online that has them cheaper? Ebay is even more expensive than Amazon. Thanks.

    Tire Deflators

I've been going round and round with which inflator to buy. I've just about pulled the lever on a Viair 400p automatic for $200. I've looked at lesser options like Slime. Also several on Ebay, Amazon, from Harbor Freight, etc. How long have you had the Slime? And do you have to oil it?

    Hungry Valley OHV Ca

Looks like a lot of fun. Sometimes I miss living in Phoenix, where I could drive a few miles out of the city and have miles and miles of trails. Not a lot back home in Iowa where I live now.

Would have loved a Garvin or Gobi. Unfortunately though they don't make a fastback version. The only other one that I know of is Wild Boar, which was a few hundred more.
