Cargo Rack project completed on the JKU

Thanks. Fortunately though, 4runners have a larger cargo carrying capacity. If i could afford it, I'd have a 4runner too. My sister has a sequoia, and it's been a very dependable vehicle for many years.

Cargo Rack project completed on the JKU

Thanks. It's rated to 650lbs so I hope it holds up well. I won't put near that amount of weight on it. But it's nice to know it can handle it.

I don't have the "feature badge on my profile" button when I follow this tutorial. Any advice?

Front Runner Outfitters vs Rhino Rack

Not sure what's all out there yet for Renegades since they are relatively new. I really want one. Every time we drive by the dealership, I tell my wife to buy me one. Unfortunately, she won't trade in our Grand Cherokee. So, if I want one, I have to give up my Wrangler. Which, I probably never...

Cargo Rack project completed on the JKU

I had my 2" budget boost removed and had a 3" Zone lift installed last month. Had the front axle sleeved and gussetted since I'm eventually moving up to 35's. I don't plan on putting too much on top. Primarily camping equipment and maybe a kayak or paddle board. I found the air dam for $99 so...

    Air Rifles

Lol, I've only been married a few years but my wife is tired of my junk. I've been selling a lot off on ebay and Facebook. Lost track of how many guns I had. So I've been selling a few of those off too. I'm trying to lighten the load so someday we can fit all our possessions in an RV and live on...

Front Runner Outfitters vs Rhino Rack

I don't know much about the Renegades. Just posted a bit ago that I got my Warrior Renegade cargo rack installed today on my JKU. Here's a link to one that is universal fit. Not sure how it mounts though. Ar you looking for something where you remove your current system and mount a whole new...

Beautiful sunset. I need to get out and do some shooting.

    Air Rifles

Great advice. My original thought was a Cricket 22lr, but then I don't want her shooting live ammo yet. Something like this she would be able to shoot in the back yard. I want my daughter to learn proper gun safety and practices.

You seem to have all the cool toys.

    Air Rifles

Good idea. I was going to get my 8 year old daughter a bb gun, but an air rifle might be a better option.

Cargo Rack project completed on the JKU

I finally got around to getting my new Warrior Renegade Cargo Rack on today. Got off work early and got it installed in a couple hours. As you all probably know, not a lot of storage space in a Wrangler. I have a question, will an air dam really make a lot of difference for wind noise? Around...

Hey Ryan, I'm upstream from you in Davenport, IA. I have several family members in SL and KC, so I'm in Missouri often. Spent a bit of time with ex-family down in Bloomfield, near Cape Girardeau. I'd think there should be some trails down that way, or near Branson. I know when I was stationed at...

Welcome to the forum. The inclusiveness is what got me to stick around too. Tired of the divisiveness on other forums. Looking forward to seeing some images of your LR's and hearing about your journeys in Australia.

Yah, it's a bit pricey. I'm happy with a gas engine. Just would like a little more low end torque. I just had a new lift put in (3" zone lift) and had my front axle sleeved and gusseted. Sitting on 33's for now. Just can't justify the cost of 35's right now. Mine's an unlimited but fortunately...

That's exactly how I feel. I'll just buy a crate motor. I'm at about 97.000 miles and hope to hit 200k as well. I don't drive it like a sports car or treat it like a 1 ton truck. I treat it like a Jeep and hope to keep it till I die. Although, a diesel would be cool someday.
