Richland roads is fun! Would like to hit it after rain or snow! I went to Overland east also. Some many tents and trailers to look at, was making hard to decide which way I would like to go! Just need to win the lottery first$$$$

I took Yellow gap rd. I think from Hendersonville to Blue ridge pkwy and into Asheville. From there take I-40 west to mile marker 8 and do Hurricane creek rd.

I took my family camping on Ocracoke Island back in 2001. And, as soon as the sun starts to set, there where so many mosquitoes, they could drain you of your blood in 5 mins! Don’t know if it is like that in other places, but that was my experience with beach camping.
