    Uwharrie is no fun in the mud! Trails get blocked with stuck vehicles. Good luck. I am going to Julian Price campground in Blowing Rock, NC on 8/31/18 and thought about going to Uwharrie on Saturday 9/1. Hope we get out this rain rut by then!

    Carolina’s Closed for Winter?

    Seem’s to slow around the Carolina’s? Anyone got anything going on? I just did Richland rd on 1/20/18. Could only get my neighbor to go! I know Uwharrie and Brown Mountain are closed till April 1. Just wondering if everyone waiting on Spring!

    Chops, I have not road the trails, only camped at entrance. I believe stock TRD should be fine from YouTube videos I have Watched.

    I am still planning on 1/20/2018 for Brown Mountain trip. I have camped at Brown Mountain, but not ridden on trail. Let’s plan on meeting at little store across from entrance to get trail pass at 10:00. Cell service is spotty in the area.
