Guest, UPDATE We went through the site migration runbook and completed all steps. We will need to complete the migration next week, but will leave the forums up for the weekend. A few days after maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Finished my Aux battery install, I used the CTEK 250SA DC to DC charger which feeds my 100 AH battery. This feeds the 3000 Watt inverter, a Switch bank for aux components, and a 12V and USB charge points located on the control panel. I still need to improve the control panel as I feel the...
The trail was very easy with a few switchbacks, could be a little bumpy with some of the rocks but overall it's easily passable with 2wd with some ground clearance
Got back from almost 3 months overseas and needed some time away. We packed up and did a quick weekend trip to "the scales" in southern Va to see the wild ponies and hit a cool winery on the trek back
I do everything myself with the exception of gearing, never done it before, so that I will take to shop. I have a long list of items waiting to be completed on the H2 when I return to the states next week.
I have never been on this route I've had it in my GPX files for a long time, I believe its part of the Appalachian byway which includes trails and roads it was on my list this summer to go from VA to Maine but I got deployed before I could accomplish it
I thought of doing part of the Appalachian byway end of Oct. Due time of a weekend maybe it will just be within PA, but wanted to start planning something, maybe I will modify the route and start in front royal through harpers ferry
So I finished my 2 optional designs for my aux battery, option 1 puts the battery under trim over the rear wheel while Option 2 uses the old compressor mount area for the battery
So I'm designing my aux battery system, currently, the plan is to fabricate a panel over one of the rear interior pockets and using my old compressor mount area for the 2nd Battery, I will share it all to include components and where to mount them once it is complete, but I have a question hs...
:rage:Well, wife's not happy, she complains every time I leave the H2 breaks, she's convinced it hates her. Had to have it towed 3 miles because a coolant line decided to go. Don't know which one but there was a large orange puddle under the truck aft of the engine. I'm thinking it is a heater...
I paid around 5K for my 2003, however, it came with a lot of items for me to fix to make it right.. although he's good to go now, lemme know if you have any major electrical issues I may be able to help
I hate the price of these easy to make options so I made my own system it uses either water containers or a stream, the water is heated from the vehicle's engine through a heat exchanger
