I sold some of these back in 2011-12 before the whole Overlanding became a thing. At the time I think I bought 4 soft tents and 4 of the clamshell ones. I never had any issues with any of them at the time with no angry customers. a good broker is key too

Yeah PO had it built to be pulled behind his jeep I guess used it once then it sat for 12 years in the garage till I picked it up. I would rather just sleep in a tent but it is useful to get the wife out with me

Only control is how fast the water goes through the exchanger and if vehicles on or not , I thought of getting a mixer however due to space I just run it off the pump . The water moves through at a good speed and the shower is usually perfect temp . Space on these classics are hard to find gotta...

I can pull water in from 3 jerry cans usually on the rear rack, or from a stream or other water source, runs up through the heat exchanger, you can see the panel in the picture in the back quarter of FJ

Thanks, it has been a work in progress, it’s also a daily driver which is nice has some cool functions incorporated into too such as onboard air where bumpers and sliders hold air too and an onboard shower system using engine coolant to heat up water.

You will be fine , bring some food water , basic recovery items, take it slow and build up experience, prob 80 percent of the trails traveled by members here are dirt roads. Once you build up that experience start taking on more challenging trails , always try to bring a buddy with you.
