Working on the grandkids angle myself. They're just getting to the age where there's no diapers ( maybe a pull-up) and things like fishing and camping are interesting.

When I was in charlotte last meetup, I said I expect it to go anytime. 370k+ on the OD, cracked head, etc. Went bad 3 miles in on a fairly rough trail on Flat Top in Pisgah/Yancey County. Barely made it home at 15mph :/

We've been scouting out some decent trails around Pisgah and Cherokee. Trying to string together a few with maybe an overnight camp area. Nothing too difficult, but more than FS roads. We'll be ready in about a week to get going. Blew the engine last week. Just started reassembly today...

I just updated the Phone app to v. 11.5.0.0217. It loads faster and has only crashed once. I still like the Web version on a PC better.

Started out exploring a bit more of Pisgah, then limped home with a blown engine. Cracked head. Oh well. I was going to rebuild it anyway, just not today. :/

Replaced all Body mount bushings. 8Hrs. Not a fan. But it does ride nice :)

Welcome David! You're starting with a nice platform. That V8 has tons of torque for it's size. Looking forward to seeing what you build.
