    Event filter

Would be much easier to find events if we could add a filter for region.

What is the last thing you bought and plan to buy?

Just installed a wilco swing away tire carrier, and a front winch-mount bumper. Next will be a RTT and awning.

    Highly Rated Brakes???

No offense taken. I used the powerstop kit w/drilled,slotte, vented rotors. The pads lasted about 20k miles. I replaced with the Wagner semi-metalic, have 18k on them, and better than 50% left. I think the pads may have done better on the upgraded rotors.

    Highly Rated Brakes???

I would think that any of the Wagner semi-metalic pads would be sufficient. The real advantage would be slotted/vented rotors. They help tremendously with brake fade on long grades. -Dan

    New to overlanding

Whatever you choose for a ride, jump in it and go for a quick overnight or 2. Then modify based on shortcomings or wants. There are the obvious items to have for safety and recovery, but those are not mod's. -Dan

Hi Chuck, Welcome! You might take a look at the build this guy did. A bit lengthy, but he has photos at every step, and lots of insight on what did / did not work. Looks like what you're after. Adventure trailer build thread. | Ford Explorer - Ford Ranger Forums - Serious Explorations...
