Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
That's insane, if it's closed at least I'll get an idea how much snow is there so I can plan my trip accordingly.
Thanks for the info and pics, still can't get over how much snow there is up there.

macr88 was taken by a chick so I am macr88_1 :(
I only have like 4 pics but I only recently started using it. I also try and limit my uploads to something interesting vs treating it like fb.

I'm going to go to Frank Raines this Sunday unless it ends up raining. It's about the same distance as Hollister. I'll probably know for sure saturday.
It's posted up here...
Skid plates and rock sliders aren't needed , just come out with me sometime. You'd be surprised what you can do in stock form.
Yes you can get all that stuff but where does it end? Start wheelin and if you decide you want to start doing some of the gnarly stuff then start shopping for that...
Most definitely yes
My Colorado was stock when I took it. There's stuff for everything out there, plus it's a really good way to figure out or get a good idea of what you and your rig are capable of before going on an adventure.

I'm always surprised at how many mtbr's know him even in the South Bay and he lives in Castro Valley. You've probably seen him around though.

I removed the sway bar a little while back and don't miss it at all. It also tows fine as well.
I have an undercover ridgelander.

Thanks for the tip, sounds like the place is closing? Any idea why? I haven't done a bunch of reading regarding that place but nothing popped up regarding an upcoming closure.
Hollister Hills was also super sketchy in the rain. Oddly enough some of the more difficult trails were super easy and...
Installed one inch blocks in the rear for added clearance, wish I would've done shackles. I'll probably eventually trade them for shackles at some point.
