Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.
Since I couldn't decide what I wanted to do for my birthday I decided a day in the dirt would be fantastic!
Figured I'd try something new, never been to this OHV park before.
If anyone's down look for the truck in the pic below.
If anyone wants to caravan I can set it up otherwise we can...
Google offline maps from the tablet, thanks to my buddy for the help.
It'll be so nice to have Google maps on one screen and my other mapping program on another.

Installed some long awaited Bilsteins this week.
Can't wait to try them out, I definitely could've used the extra 2 inches of clearance in Death Valley after sliding off a rock and denting my frame and oil pan a tad.

I've always enjoyed exploring, I'd constantly take my scirocco to places it probably shouldn't have gone. My first 4 wheel drive vehicle was a Sequoia, I wish I would've gotten the land cruiser instead but oh well. The Colorado gets the job...

Ubehebe Crater
The Racetrack

Day 1
First Morning in Mojave
I woke up to this truck idling and the beautiful smell of diesel mixed with the wonderful smell of Denny's
Here's a picture of my sleeping accommodations, it took a bit to get situated. It was 52 degrees which was a bit on the cold side.
Day 2...
FYI and YMMV
I have a 98 Toyota Camry and made sure to use toyotas recommended radiator fluid. They have two types and mixing them will create a sludge like substance.
I say this because I have 315 thousand miles or so and I'm still on the original radiator and on my second water pump. The...
