Guest, we will be conducting site maintenance this week and some downtime is expected. At this time Rally Point and the Member Map will also become an app-only feature for long-term security and stability. A few days after this maintenance, a major upgrade revision to the forum site will occur.

I agree, I started watching his channel a couple months ago and I'm hooked. Thanks for getting him a membership, he's definitely an overlander.
I'll most likely be a patrion pledge at some point. I stopped paying for cable a while back and donating to his channel is money well spent IMO.

The hardware at the end of the line would've landed in the same place with or without the jacket.
The force at which it let go was relatively small compared to a cable snapping.

It's about 2.5hrs from S. SJ
There's a few spots up there, there's a small knife/gun shop off of 4 that can suggest a few spots. Doesn't hurt to help them out by buying something from them either.

Being new to this whole overlanding thing and purchasing my first CB radio, I really don't understand why this community still considers CB as a viable communication device. I feel like FRS/GMRS radios are so much better and don't require any licensing assuming you stay off of the GMRS bands...
My buddies and I were planning to go to Panoche Hills but like you said it's closed.
We're heading up to Murphys.
There's also Williams Hill but it isn't nearly as nice as Panoche.

The g80 is an automatic mechanical locker. No button or switch needed.
I love mine, works great once you figure out how it engages and how to engage it.

I was looking at the map and I was wondering if we should designate a spot to park at so we're all together? Maybe the end of the lot by the large field?
Just a thought so we're not all spread apart.

Hello, thought I would share the usefulness or lack thereof of a winch damper video that I came across shortly after purchasing my winch dampers for recovery situations. I did return them after watching this video though.
Let me know what you guys think? Should I have kept them?
