that would be fun to see on the trail! there are tons and tons of places to get parts. check out the for sale thread on overlandbound I am sure someone else on here is rocking a rav 4 on the trail! best of luck, like to see what you find
i was toying with the idea of just painting some unistrui black witih unistrut clips. but i am curious to see who has a better solution.
one thing i did think about was just using the cross support bars, or "tent bars" or whatever you call them up top. they have bolts that could be doubled up...
Everything is up and running EXCEPT the manifold rail would not work for my setup. There is no where to mount it. I went on amazon and ordered a pencil rail with a bracket this time and have a pretty good plan for a ball valve, a pressure relief valve, a hose connection and a gauge. Should be...
we have a tepui and a stealth rack. not sure if you already pulled the trigger, but there is some room up there if you move the tent forward to the front or back. but not a ton of room. and its hard to open the tent if there is anything in the way of the zipper. I can send pics of what it used...
Thanks! I would only say the stand is still wobbly. Maybe because of the price. I’m not sure a more expensive jack would be more stable at a long length.
Now I just need longer bolts for both of those with lock holes and two locks will make the trailer a pain to try and steal if we drive away to explore.
I looked around and no one really has a jack that goes directly into the hitch to keep the trailer on a tripod level. The wheel just does not give the even support I thought would be adequate, as it’s only one side.
So I custom made a bracket that was cut from an old bent toe hitch and welded...
Edit:
OK so after research I pulled the trigger. Ill try to be as comprehensive as possible.
Hopefully someone will find this helpful...

Was going to hitch up our smittybilt scout trailer if anyone would want to get some hands on and see what it actually looks like in person. Not sure if that’s a thing anyone would want to see. Anyone interested?
Ok so I have a smitybilt Scout and the two rear jacks are nice but the boot slips and actually I noticed bent when I was setting the trailer up the first time. I want to get a toe hitch jack, that would stabilize the triangle design. Not sure about you folks but the trailer sags to the left...
Ordered one and put it together ourselves. Love it, but some things I am going to change for sure.
Loving the idea of solar and battery with lights
