Found a good campsite on some blm land north of Cabezon peak. That’s it in the right background. Cool rainbow in the distance. Abiquiu lake and dam.NMBDR goes down the back of the dam and follows the river for a good distance.

Yes everything is pre loaded and working off my garmin glo. It was working correctly the day before as I was route finding. And worked the day after. Just not in the canyon for some reason.

Where the NMBDR gets its closest to Arizona, I detoured on another forest service road and went there to do some exploring along the Blue River. I followed that north to Alpine and then cut back east to rejoin the NMBDR. This is lake Luna just outside Alpine Az more to come...
