For a while I was hitting up a lot of the site but work has gotten busy so I've had a lot less time to spend on here. Not to mention limited budget and there's so many cool things that I'd want to do with the truck that I kind of have to ignore it for a while to build up the piggy bank.
In-laws have a same gen 4runner and its better then the current gen to me. Current gen was such a let down after driving that one for a few months. Almost $20,000 for a 8 yr old truck is crazy if your the buyer but awesome if you're the seller. Like that color.
@Bouncer nice looking truck and fantastic way to make a tough situation into a fantastic one. Keep it up and treat your customers right and you'll be in business a long time. So many people would've blamed someone else and not done anything to actually improve the situation. If I ever make it to...
We've all been bit by the FOMO bug. It's what advertising and sales are built on. I got rid of a Pontiac G8GT for a 2011 BMW 535i xi. I'd do almost anything to have a do over on that decision. The BMW was the nicest car I've ever owned and it was a completely souless machine.
Forgot to mention if you're going to hit up more than 1 of the national parks you should spend the money on the yearly pass. Even if you don't use it after this trip it'll likely pay for itself in this trip alone.
I was going to suggest Yellowstone and Cody WY but you'll be on the other side of all of that. There may be an entrance open into Yellowstone south or west. Yellowstone in the winter is a very different place compared to summer. If you head towards Colorado I suggest taking the western side of...
@Bouncer Oh yeah vs a Nexen tire yeah I'd go with the KO2. Much better quality tire from a much better brand for not much more. Makes sense now. That's a hill worth dying on.
Not to incite anything but I don't understand this logic. Unless you're planning on getting it from her with the KO2s still in good shape or making use of the AT portion of the tires some highway tires would've been better performing for her driving style. My wife has a 2012 Explorer with...
Well, haven't seen much action from the folks around here..... But here's a few pics from along the way. @Ntgm37 message me if you wanna meet up this week. Will likely make it to Cody sometime this week.

Didn't do any camping when I went to Zion last summer but hitting up the west side of the park is fantastic. May be some camping areas over there. It's not by the river but it's off the beaten path.

.......if I wash it lol.
Also, I've gotten to use the lights on the rack at the campground and on the 2 lane highways in the middle of nowhere. I'd say they're useful for looking into the trees and above the headlight line.
