    A diesel or not a diesel? That is the question.

    If you end up going full size diesel I'd look at 1 ton. My 3/4 ton 03 7.3 superduty payload was surprisingly low. Had a life in camper and put me very close to to exceeding the gvwr and that was empty. It may differ in later years . I second finding something with no dpf or the need def fluid.

    Silence sometimes, audiobooks have been great though I phase out and have to rewind it. Jump on channel 19 to see if anyone chatting . My favorite is calculating fuel usage and trying to figure out my next fuel stop

    flapping tie down ends, some inovative new solutions?

    I dont know the name of the knot but I roll up the excess leaving some to pull through hole and wrap around the bundle once. Seems to work pretty well. Takes a little fine tuning to get rid of extra slack

    Just to make sure , correct oil viscosity Is used and oil changes fresh. I'm not sure if you have a way to see if cam and crank sensors are syncing. I'd look at cam phasers to see if they are moving freely when commanded. Not sure if you have a tool that will do this or not. I'd start with a...

    Usually have to check oil pressure to verify if this an issue. May be able to pull the passenger valve cover and see if you have any slop on the chain.

    These had issues with the timing chain tensioner seals blowing out, fairly common issue. Hear any chain noise? Was the check engine light due just misfire or were other codes listed?
