Sting Rays Seafood is a must for dinner. Depending on your interests, theres the Tybee Island Marine Science center, https://goo.gl/maps/5KYGUwFNFYN2 .
The Tybee Lighthouse is a must visit along with Ft. Screven which is right next to the lighthouse. Theres also dolphin sightseeing tours. We...
Went ahead and bought the Core 4x4 Tier 2 control arm set. So far the ride seems to be pretty good. Had a shop adjust everything to get camber and pinion adjusted right(better than I could do in driveway). Haven't gotten it off road yet but I will update once I get some off road miles on them.
I'm with you on that. I prefer to minimize the chances of breaking stuff while out in the middle of nowhere. With that said though, the Rubicon Trail is on my bucket list just so i can say I did it, other than that, no hardcore rock crawling or anything for me. The wife prefers the scenic...
From a little bit of googling, it looks like the fuel shortage only applies to the state run Pemex fuel company. From what i read, Mobil fuel stations still have fuel available. Here is the number to a Mobil station, you could call to see if they have fuel +52 477 779 4694 .. According to...
Hey everyone,
Just thought I would ask to see if any Rocky Mt. members are planning to attend any of the Jamborees next year. The wife and I are looking at either Ouray, Bighorn, or the new overlanding event, Beartooth Adventure. We haven't done a Jamboree before so it'll be an new...
I was planning on it but my Jeep is DOA in the driveway waiting for this damn rain to quit so I can finish putting brakes on it. Got the fronts done but got rear tore down then ran out of time before I had to go to work and it hasnt stopped raining since...LOL On the plus side, I do have some...
Currently in the market for new control arms. After seeing your video, Core 4x4 is now on my short list. Warranty seems to be excellent and the fact you can get custom colors. Will definitely check them out further. Thanks for sharing.
Overlanding doesn't have any restrictions associated with it other than;
1) Common Sense: Only drive or camp on public lands or on land you have permission to be on. No trespassing or destruction of land.
2) Tread Lightly: Kinda goes along with the first one. Be respectful of the land.
3)...
I would definitely suggest it whether your new or not. Its a pretty great place for camping or just day tripping it. Nice area for photography, getting your truck muddy, doing some sandy hill climbs or just hanging out by the dismal river.
I just started a new job with the USPS so not sure about vacation time or even if I'm getting any weekends off but Tuttle Creek is on my bucket list at some point. Looks like alot of fun!
Got my Supporter+ goody bag in the mail the other day. Love the contents but I mainly wanted the Base Camp Flag...LOL Seems like a great group of people so I see no reason not to support them and hopefully help grow the community.
