Had a really odd experience a few weeks ago, I was rather deep in the uintas here in Utah, didn’t see a single person for 2 days. On my last night up there I got woke. Up around 230 am by the truck swaying, didn’t think anything of it and went back to sleep. Next morning I clean up camp and get...

One of the mornings i woke up in my hammock feeling like I was being watched, I sat up and up the hill was a huge figure leaning around a tree then ran up the hill a bit and...

Nothing crazy I just use a skottle and a jet boil, fridge/freezer to come eventually but the yeti does just fine for now.

Who here plans Overland trips around Fishing?

I love the new fork, grew up fishing that river with my grandpa, I’d love to see the rod your dad built, I’m a sucker for vintage fly rods

Overlanding alone first time need advice.

Going to be beating a dead horse here, but as someone who almost always is solo.. planning: pre plan your route and share it with someone at home with time frames (Gaia great and easy for this) Communication: satellite communication is a must, I use garmin Inreach mini paired with my iPad...
