I am second owner and need to know if any way to locate using Overland community and how to find out all after market parts for insurance if not found. Any help you can offer much appreciated.

Try the Backcountry Discovery Route from Chloride to Reserve. Google will find the gpx files.

Moved back to NM (Placitas) in the fall of 2025, after 25 years on the east coast. Happy to be back and was hoping for more activity on the boards. Looking forward to once again exploring the Land of Enchantment!

My buddy and I recently did a 2-day run through the NM Carson Natl. Forest. It was roughly 160 miles of dirt roads, tight rocky trails, beautiful overlooks, superb camping spots and a river crossing through the Rio De Los Pinos, ending up at a camp spot along the Rio De Los Pinos river. All told, this really should be a three day run with an extra 10 gallons of fuel. I had an extra 5 and that would have cut it w-a-y too close. Start off in Abiquiu, topping off at the local Phillips 66 gas station, 160 miles later, you'll end up at the Antonito gas station, and then come back down 285 to NM. It was an awesome trip that taught us that our Gladiators get between 9 and 12 miles per gallon, when spending a lot of time in 4-Hi, and some time in 4-Low.

Next time, I'll have to take 3 days to slow down and run this trail.

Now go from Cuba NM to Abiquiu along the FR144 or you can also pop out in Espanola.
On the northern side of you go from Antonio to Horca, CO you can drive to Platoro reservoir and over Elwood pass to Pagosa Springs or pass that to come out by South Fork Colorado. Sky’s the limit beyond that. Follow the Rio Hrande to its headwaters at Stony Pass past. Creede CO.
