PRG makes arguably the best shackles on the market for the 2nd Gen Xterra.

I grew up about 45 minutes ne of Seattle. My cousins lived in Wenatchee (about 30 minutes from Leavenworth), so we'd usually go out there several times a year. Though I've never personally wheeled out there, I'm sure there's tons of trails out there.

Ooh, quick thought. Did you get the bump stop spacers for the rear? Those OEM Xterra springs DO NOT like being inverted (well most springs don't but the especially) like they will with a shackle lift. They'll break down pretty quickly.

No I didn’t , think the springs are already shot from I’m guessing the PO towing with it . I think I’m going to replace the springs eventually with a set of Chevy 63 inch leafs.
But for now it looks much better and way way better not bouncing off the bump stops and Having a little more travel out of the longer shackle.
I rocked helper springs on my X for a few years. Lifted the rear up a bit too as my leafs were old and blown lol cheap and easy install

Had a little free time after work so I cut up some mounts for these small LED lights that will be my undercarriage lights , will really be nice on those nighttime snow runs .

Got 3 of my tires today ( 4th one coming out of Cali) scored when I stopped by a tire shop to have 1 mounted on my spare wheel to test fit things and the guy happened to have a set of 16x8 with a +25 offset wheels for 200$ .... score !!
Initial impressions
With the right offset and the tire being a little skinnier than most 315s things are lining up fairly well in the front they clear all the suspension and frame under steering lock , I will need to take about 2” out of the wheel well to clear and some melting of the fender liner but so far it all looks good .
In the rear I will need to remove some of the bumper , notch the frame at a angle |_\ and replate it and maybe need a 1/4” wheel spacer and some longer bumpstops .
great thing is the tire and wheel combo comes in at 85lbs .
so I do have some work ahead of me but so far everything seems to be lining up where I thought it would be .

Be wary...they do not have the best rep on The New X, I was looking into them as well as I don't mind the DIY weld option, particular the price range! But lots of issues with lead times, poorly cut parts, terrible cust serv There are some other decent options for our X's MaxTerra is pretty much the gold standard...I'm also looking into Coastal Offroad for the rear as they also offer a DIY kit, and is the only one I've seen that wraps from the side bumpers
