Just got my first winter camping trip under my belt with my gf in The Black Pearl at Lake of the Woods in Southern Oregon. Had a blast in a winter storm that dropped almost a foot of snow on us all night long.

That is AWESOME, keef! My mom just turned 90 a couple months ago. Unlike your mom, however, she hasn't camped since she was in her 30's.

I've had some great ones but this is still my favorite. I was exploring Pisgah/Cherokee National forests and found a path that lead right to this lake. Was beautiful and I woke up to the rising sun view from my tent. I wanted to never leave.

our very first overnight stop in the demountable. This is a Tandy Pony atop our old Ford Ranger Supercab. It had to be raised on top of a pallet to fit over the cab and looked a bit strange until I made fairings to cover all the gaps where it didn’t fit!

I built this micro trailer for my wee sister. Just big enough for her and her dog. The octagonal shape exactly matches a Victory V lozenge, so we named it the Lozenge. Cooking outside, or inside in wet weather, compressor fridge, leisure battery, and the bare minimum of luxuries, a mattress and duvet, lol
