Where is everyone mounting their Compressors? I just picked up an ARB CKMTA12 and I'm not sure where the best place to mount it would be. Its going on a daily driven 2015 Silverado. I know the second battery tray would be the easiest but I want to go dual battery eventually.

Mine is in the bed on the inner side wall - no room under the hoop in my F250. We have a shell on the truck so it is out of sight, you could put a steel box around it with key locked opening. ?

I thought about that but I have a Decked drawer system. I might actually be able to cut out one of the corner “ammo” boxes and put it under the platform.

I've mounted mine under the bonnet, not were the aux battery tray is, but closer to where the air intake is. There was just enough space for it there.
I highly recommend to put it under the bonnet, it's out of the way (save space inside the car), and you limit the wire length which is always a bonus.
Car is a Toyota Prado 120 series (Petrol).
