I’m a desert native 38 years this month out of Phoenix, AZ—born and raised and proud to be what I’d call a full-time desert bum. The outdoors has been part of my story from day one. No joke, I took my first steps as a baby at Seven Springs Campground, so I guess you could say I never really had a choice in the matter… and I wouldn’t change it anyway.
I’ve spent most of my life tent camping and getting out wherever I can, learning as I go and picking things up the old-fashioned way—by doing. I’ve had the chance to take on some unforgettable hikes, including Havasupai Falls (twice), which definitely pushed me but also hooked me even deeper into this lifestyle. There’s just something about earning those views the hard way.
I’m still pretty green when it comes to off-roading, but I recently picked up a Toyota 4Runner SR5 and I’m ready to change that. I’m here to learn, build up my skills, and add as many tips, tricks, and lessons to my toolbox as I can.
I don’t claim to know everything, but I do know this—I’m rarely lost… just always exploring.
Looking forward to being part of the community and getting out there more.

Welcome! Dig in and read… lots of info and rigs to draw ideas from on here! just ask your questions, none are bad. We all keep learning as we go! !
