Not many spare parts to speak of, but I do have a wide array of tools, a 15k# bottle jack, and a 12k# comealong, recovery shackles and straps, etc.

I do also carry 5 gallons of fuel, but have come to find out I'll need a shaker siphon to ever get any of it into my truck (curse you CARB)

I have 12 gal water onboard.

Spare parts are limited to electrical parts and a spare battery, wish I had a spare axle shaft or two...

But I'll have lots of firewood :-)

I have nothing except the stock jack and my spare. I gotta purchase some recovery gear.
 
After googling this place, I can't wait to check it out. Some of the old westerns that were made here. And the scenery ....

Not to mention the first tremors movie was filmed there. I'd highly suggest checking out the film museum on yall way out in lone pine. Definetly worth it. Love the Alabama hills!! Wish I could make this trip

My last weekend in April has now been booked by a ClubFrontier weekend campout at Hollister Hills. This pretty much kills any other outing for me in April, since this will decimate my "fun" budget to prepare for it.
 
OK all,

I've set the weekend for the "Non-Event Event".

April 1st: Arrive and make camp
April 2nd: Take a run up to Cerro Gordo Mine Ghost Town
April 3rd: Roll out

Come as you are, camp where you will!

April 2nd I have to pick up family at SFO and drive them back to Fresno.:cry::cry::cry::cry: Hopefully I can make the next trip.

This I may be able to sneak in and out of. It'll be a grueling drive, and I'll be sleeping in the trick but meh, I want to go.

I'm 95 percent in. When is everyone heading there? It's a seven hour drive so I'm thinkING of leaving early am to beat rush hour like 4 ish
