I have a HAM radio but haven't gotten an license yet. Signed up for the test at OEW. Can I still come down and meet up with you guys or no? I also have CB.

Of course guys! We'd love to have you! As long as all in the convoy can communicate any unplanned stops, emergencies, etc. we'll be good. Even if you have a 2-way radio/cell phone we should be fine. Just don't want to leave anyone behind.
We'll have a brief spreadsheet for contact numbers/rig info so we can account for everyone at the stops. If that works for you, definitely join us!

Been following this a few months. Still a maybe, but working towards making it a reality.
I know I missed out on the Experience packages, but I'm sure as a first timer, it'd still be an experience.
If I can make it happen, I'd probably have a friend in a Jeep with me (whom I think joined OB just recently).

My first time I missed out on the experience package also, yet I still had a wonderful time. This will be my third expo...next year I would like to volunteer to see it from that side of things. Hope your able to make it.

This is my first trek of this sort. I plan on leaving Santa Maria @ about 0600 Thursday morning, my brother and I in one vehicle, and heading 166 to 40 into Flagstaff. Wouldn't mind hooking up with some folks along the way or even setting up camp around the OB people.. We know no one so it would be cool to meet some folks from here.
We have weekend + camping.

Hello Rick...great to have you as an OB Member - There are a couple of groups heading East to the Expo..."Convoy 40", has two meeting points a long hwy 40, I can add you to list if you like.
