Rally Point Details:

UPDATE: We've changed the location of this trail run due to extreme fire danger and Tillamook State Forest OHV trails being closed.

Meet @ 9:00AM at the Government Camp Rest Area at milepost 54 off of highway 26 Oregon.

We'll then head out to Barlow Road together for a pre-trail run briefing and to air down.

Then rally up for a pot luck lunch where an organized discussion will take place based on the questions and topics posted by the participants.

OERNet will moderate the lunch time chat to get questions discussed and answered.

After lunch, we will run another trail or two then return home.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bare minimum =
- front & rear recovery points
- fire extinguisher
- camp chair(s)
- shovel

Usually, more is required but this will be a true newbie run. More experienced and equipped folks are welcomed and can contribute to the knowledge transfer.

PLEASE bring a food item to share and your own silverware. POST item(s) and questions in discussion section.

This is open to all BUT designed for those NEW to overlanding, off-roading and expedition travel. It will be a fun mellow informative time and a great introduction to the overlanding community spirit.

Drivers and participants must accept full responsibility for their own vehicles. Full sizers attend at a higher risk of damage.
