I'm gonna be heading out there this winter, any spots you'd recommend for camping?
For camping, I prefer to head a few miles south into Nantahala National Forest. Amazing drive from Smoky Mtn and it’s not far at all. Call ahead because I think they close some of the campsites for the winter in the GSM. Not sure about the Nantahala.

Thanks, I'm not able to make it to far out till later in the year cause work slows down and theirs less bugs so the wife is more willing to put up with it.
