Hello, I am a career first responder, had all disciplines including Fire, EMS, Dispatching, and Law Enforcement. The primary job a homicide investigator in fires, bombings and explosions. Also canine handlier.
At paramedic level of training I have been on over 10k runs and also flight medic.
At the end of my career I was a sergeant Ranger for a county Parks system. It was a lot of fun!

8 years Navy 89-97. Worked on avionics for just about everything the Navy flew at the time. Great thing about being at Pax River. They had everything there.

CATCOP, Combat Air Traffic Control Operations, 9 years Army enlisted, then commissioned. Sworn Deputy in Jefferson Parish, La. briefly, later an Insurance Fraud investigator. 80%, mainly from a terrorist bombing from active duty in '72, I was exempt from the draft and joined, RA, in '71. Yes, I'm a Bommer!

I served between 2003-2013 with the Royal Canadian Dragoons ( RCD ) Two tours over seas. Once I retired from the army I went to school learned how to weld, started my own welding company, shut it down due to covid, and now I am firing up another offroad fab shop ( Flat Fender Customs ) in Spring Hill Tn, and making content related to overlanding and rock crawling.

US Navy, STG3 (Sonar Technician, Surface), aboard the USS Deyo, DD-989...which is now an artificial reef in the Atlantic 
1987 to 1990, bootcamp in San Diego and stationed in Charleston, SC, with two cruises to the Persian Gulf, patrolling the Straight of Hormuz. Pretty boring. I did passively track a Russian sub that left the Strait of Gibraltar, headed north, for 150 miles before handing it off to the Atlantic fleet. Two time Shellback with additional training in high explosives cleanup, nuclear missile handling, general shipboard security (at-sea and in-port) and fire-fighting at-sea and in-port. All skills that were totally worthless for me once I got out but hey, it helped pay for college! And since my dad was in the Navy (mine sweeper) it was something we could bond over, which was nice because we had a rocky relationship when I was a teen -- the Navy gave me the kick in the ass I needed.
