Finished my diesel heater box, and got it mounted on the tire platform!

I've been working on my diesel heater project as well. Picked up a Chinese heater on the Amazons and started modifying it....
Still waiting on a couple of pieces parts but it's almost there.

My parts got delayed a day and arrived late, so I didn't get around to wrapping up the 01TJ transmission into 95YJ swap until today. Of course, my rear springs came in after I closed up the shop for the day. So that will be next week project. But it's in, it drives and 5th gear works with no issues. Mission accomplished.

Today, as always, I did another big check before winter and prepared everything for the cold days ahead:

Crankcase ventilation set to winter mode (heating)
Preheater checked
Fluid levels checked
Antifreeze in cooling water checked
Battery checked and topped up
Wiper blades replaced
Door seals and door hinges greased
Underbody protection applied here in there and corrosion protection applied in various places
Winch checked
Lights checked and adjusted
Diesel filter replaced

So, now it can get cold, I'm looking forward to winter.

Day before yesterday I swapped the rear springs on the YJ. Nearly 30 years of wear and unknown number of miles with an automatic locker in theback had taken it's toll. They had a slight "S" shape towards the frame end mount and when loaded with camping gear had a negative arch. These should have a nice ride height once worn in. My new front springs get here tomorrow.

Today I finally got around to overclocking my rig. I cranked up the CPU and GPU speeds, and let me tell you, it's like my computer is on steroids now. Games are running smoother than ever, and those render times? Pfft, they don't stand a chance. It was totally worth the extra heat and power consumption
