What Did You Do With Your Rig Today?

Nice.. Is there a reason to go with the snomaster over say an arb or edgestar? I don't know much about that brand but am curious...
i liked the fact that it has the stainless steel exterior as opposed to the plastic on the arb. It came as a complete package with the cover, wireless remote and multiple power supply cords. Price. 5 year warranty. Looks really bad ass, free bottle opener lol

Installed 1" H&R spacers and had to remove my Rally Armor flaps due to new interferences in the front wheel wells. Have some more trimming/adjusting to do as I still rub a little bit... Ugh. Also gave the wagon a half decent bath. I always think it's funny to see all the dirt/mud that comes out of everywhere. Subaru would be proud.

How is the main box mounted and where did you mount it to run the wires to the battery?
Howdy. The main box is a very small unit. I have mine simply zip tied to a metal cross bar hidden behind/under the glove box. From there the power wire can be run behind the dash plastic and through a small opening which then enters under the hood. The wire continues forward to another small hole entering the engine bay and to the battery. It looks totally OEM. With the small main box you could put it under a seat, glove box, etc. But for Jeeps how I did it is elegant and simple.

You're welcome. I love it...works like a charm on the trail. The handheld unit is a bit heavier and slightly awkward while keying the mike, but unless you spend a whole lot of time talking while wheeling it's not an issue. It's worth the trade off between it and a standard bodied unit, and looks like a factory option. Safe journey!

I am pretty sure my alternator is gone on my 2013 LR4, 50.6k miles (just out of warranty).. so I call the dealer to find a part number, they say $909 for the alternator... just the part.... HOLY S***

Luckily another was sourced from a local friend for much less, around $380 for a new denso.

So I will be swapping that out tomorrow in a ~4F degree garage. Should be fairly straight forward, just cold.

I just had to replace mine about three weeks ago. $186. Not bad for a 136 amp alternator.
I guess there are some advantages to not having a Land Rover... ;>{)
