Picked up the wheels I bought yesterday and testfitted one of them before it started raining, I know it's not a 4x4, but I don't need one for daily driving (also, that car tiny at only 12'5" long, 5'4" wide and 2250 lbs)
I also know the headlight needs cleaning or replacing, I will replace both once I find some I like.
Lots of space in here for a big brake kit in the future, should I decide to turbo it, these wheels are a 6.5x17" size with a +49 offset (my car came from the factory with 15" wheels and a +43 offset, so I might have to get some spacers in the future).

My oldest son, the dog and I ran the Gambler 500 for one day. Did 350 miles of dirt on Saturday, I can tell I'm getting older, I'm a little sore today.

R&R’d my TJ Rubicon‘s oem sliders with a set of Rock Hard 4x4 tube sliders. Even with only a 2” lift, had to prop the floor jack up on ramps in order to seat the slider into position for drilling holes. One of my proper tools was taping a serrated flange nut to my middle finger to reach the rear bolt via a prefabbed body hole. Worked like a champ.
The slider also doubles as a step to reach the roof rack.

New shoes! went from Toyo at2 285/70/17 to Toyo RT 305/70/17. Decent amount of trimming but I made them fit! Much quieter than the worn at2’s

Built a box to organize gear. It's also the back half of a sleeper platform (to be continued...). Originally was going to leave the wood exposed, but decided to try installing carpet.
This is a test build to learn from and will do something later with higher quality hardwood once I figure out the likes and dislikes.

Checked the UPS tracking website! Got a Kaon rear shelf coming in that will utilize the space above the rear cargo area between the „oh shit bars“.

Got my new wheels fitted! :D
The front suspension needs to come down abit more and it needs some wheel spacers, but those can wait a while longer.
Yes I know the wheels need cleaning, but they will be repainted this winter anyway once i have decided on a color for them.

It's not an epic trail. But, we introduced our niece and nephews to car camping and eating lunch in random spots along the road.
We went from Seattle to San Fransisco on nothing but the PCH and gravel roads (we were in our cars not SUV)

I got rid of the cop bumper and gained a factory hitch. I also gained significant departure angle while losing the weight of the aftermarket hitch.

Finally got some drawers installed. I wish I would have done this years ago. Only downside is that I’m not sure my fridge will open enough for easier access. Oh, well. I think I’d rather move it to the cab anyway.

Looks good. You could always get the fridge sliders that come out then slide down?
I plan to install my new Smittybuilt awning and adding some flat alminum slats to my roof bars for additional mounting spots.
I will also install my new Midland MXT275 GMRS radio somewhere, maybe under the dash or passenger seat.
